In November the 2nd 1942 their were between 400 and 450 souls in Sidra, all of them were Jews, the Rabbi was Max Mordachai Nowinski and his wife Ida were my great grandfather and great grandmother, she was a healer, there were 1000 sheep in and around Sidra. When the Nazi's left Sidra there were no Jews there at all, now there are over 3000 souls living there of these non are Jews. Even the Yad ve Shem lacks information on exactly what happened there. The town was raised, monuments destroyed, it was as if it had not existed at all. Were there no survivors no eyewitness testimonies, no German films , photos, or documents?Birth or Death records?
